I wish to discuss a significant topic: the nature of Almighty God, who serves us all as a humble servant. This notion may be offensive to some, particularly those who view God as proud and exalted. When individuals align themselves with a proud deity, they often express sentiments such as, "You are diminishing the Father," particularly in reference to His sacrifice on the Cross. This perspective is misguided; rather than detracting from the Father, one is, in fact, enhancing the understanding of His greatness through His selfless act. It is challenging for some to accept the idea of Almighty God humbling Himself to the point of death for our sake.
In the Gospel of Mark, there is a pertinent scripture that illustrates this point. When Jesus was in a house in Capernaum, He inquired of His disciples about their discussions during their journey. They remained silent, as they had been debating who among them was the greatest. Jesus then sat down, called the twelve, and stated that anyone wishing to be first must be the last of all and the servant of all. This raises the question: who is the greatest in the Kingdom of God? It is, of course, Almighty God Himself. Therefore, it is clear that to be first in this Kingdom, one must adopt the role of servant, which can be a deeply offensive concept to many. This principle may have contributed to the Pharisees' decision to condemn Jesus, and it is evident that this same spirit persists today.
