Almighty God came to earth - The "Happily Ever After Story" never to be told by Hollywood

 

I woke up this morning and straight away the Lord told me about His story. It is a story that the world hates. That is why you will never hear about it in a Hollywood movie. Even though most Hollywood movies are based on this most loving act of God, they will not give Him glory, instead they mock Him.

Anyway, this post is not about wicked Hollywood, but about the most beautiful love story ever to have happened and to be told. It is about Almighty God, our Creator, coming to save us from eternal damnation. But how did it all begin?

Once upon a time...

Most High God, created the heavens and the earth. Now the earth was formless and void, and darkness was over the surface of the deep. And the Spirit of God was hovering over the surface of the waters. And God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light. And God saw that the light was good, and He separated the light from the darkness. God called the light Day, and the darkness He called Night. So the evening and the morning were the first day.

Then God said, “Let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters, and let it divide the waters from the waters.” Thus God made the firmament, and divided the waters which were under the firmament from the waters which were above the firmament; and it was so. And God called the firmament Heaven. So the evening and the morning were the second day.

Then God said, “Let the waters under the heavens be gathered together into one place, and let the dry land appear”; and it was so. And God called the dry land Earth, and the gathering together of the waters He called Seas. And God saw that it was good.

Then God said, “Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb that yields seed, and the fruit tree that yields fruit according to its kind, whose seed is in itself, on the earth”; and it was so. And the earth brought forth grass, the herb that yields seed according to its kind, and the tree that yields fruit, whose seed is in itself according to its kind. And God saw that it was good. So the evening and the morning were the third day.

Then God said, “Let there be lights in the firmament of the heavens to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs and seasons, and for days and years; and let them be for lights in the firmament of the heavens to give light on the earth”; and it was so. Then God made two great lights: the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night. He made the stars also. God set them in the firmament of the heavens to give light on the earth, and to rule over the day and over the night, and to divide the light from the darkness. And God saw that it was good. So the evening and the morning were the fourth day.

Then God said, “Let the waters abound with an abundance of living creatures, and let birds fly above the earth across the face of the firmament of the heavens.” So God created great sea creatures and every living thing that moves, with which the waters abounded, according to their kind, and every winged bird according to its kind. And God saw that it was good. And God blessed them, saying, “Be fruitful and multiply, and fill the waters in the seas, and let birds multiply on the earth.” So the evening and the morning were the fifth day.

Then God said, “Let the earth bring forth the living creature according to its kind: cattle and creeping thing and beast of the earth, each according to its kind”; and it was so. And God made the beast of the earth according to its kind, cattle according to its kind, and everything that creeps on the earth according to its kind. And God saw that it was good.

After God had created all this, He said to His angels, who were one with God through His Spirit (Romans 8:14, Job 1:6): "Let us make man in our image, according to our likeness; let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.” So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them. Then God blessed them, and God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it; have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over every living thing that moves on the earth.”

And God said, “See, I have given you every herb that yields seed which is on the face of all the earth, and every tree whose fruit yields seed; to you it shall be for food. Also, to every beast of the earth, to every bird of the air, and to everything that creeps on the earth, in which there is life, I have given every green herb for food”; and it was so. Then God saw everything that He had made, and indeed it was very good. So the evening and the morning were the sixth day.

Everything Most High God created was connected to Him, including mankind, because God is Spirit and Light and He can therefore be in all places at the same time.

God had created us in His image, meaning, we were made a living being/soul, a son of God, because we too were connected to His Holy Spirit (Romans 8.14).

After God had created mankind, we lived peacefully together with the rest of creation, in the faith of God Almighty and His love. (there will be a separate post about the 7th day).

And this is were things started to go wrong...

Love

You see, godly Love is very different to worldly love. Godly love is faith in God alone, meaning we deny our own will, in order to do the will of God; a state of being in which we serve one another, as the will of God is self sacrificing love. For example, you would think, how can I serve those around me? And likewise, others would think, how can I serve you and others? In this state of servitude, no one lacks anything, all are looked after and no one is being hurt. 

And that is exactly how it was in Eden; God calls it a love feast (Jude 1:12). God, mankind, the angels and the rest of creation lived together in loving servitude. Until... one of the angels, Lucifer, rebelled against God Almighty, and Lucifer was cast out of God's kingdom, and with him one third of the angels, who Lucifer had deceived. 

No longer wanting to serve others, love others, Lucifer was filled with pride and went after his own agenda - to be like God Almighty. 

Lucifer, who was now called Satan, had rebelled (sinned) against God and was destined for eternal damnation in hell as he was no longer connected to the Holy Spirit of God which gave him life (sin separates us from God).

Filled with hatred for God and His creation, Satan made it his mission to bring God's precious creation down to hell with him. 

Mankind was still in love, serving one another and Eden was still untouched by death because all was connected to God, holy and alive.

Many of you will know what is coming next. Satan deceived mankind into becoming selfish. The bible describes it in a beautiful way, but to be blunt, mankind was deceived by Satan to go after its own desires, becoming selfish and no longer loving. We no longer walked in selfless faith to God, but we decided to walk after our own selfish desires. On that day of our rebellion against God, sin entered into Eden and we became separated from the Holy Loving Spirit of God. We became spiritually dead. Sin and death had entered Eden and all creation fell into a deep unconscious sleep (Ephesians 5.14)

From that day on, mankind was no longer a living conscious soul in Eden, but a spiritually dead soul in the world of today.

Hate

This was the most terrible day in history; from that day on we were born into a world in which sin reigned, meaning, as soon as we are born into this world (we are born perfect, connected to the Holy Loving Spirit) we learn to sin. Lying is normal, hating and being "self reliant" is praised and nurtured.

It is almost like our flesh has become our main focus because our conscience is switched off.  Everything we experience in life is experienced through the flesh rather than the mind of God who used to be our head (authority)!  Because we are now in a fallen flesh body with many desires (sexual, material, emotional etc) and no longer connected to God Almighty, we have made it our mission to quench the thirst of our deprived souls with anything we can find in a deprived world. And our world is getting more depraved by the day (yet the world would like you to believe we are getting more "accepting" and therefore "loving". This is a deception and lie by Satan)

So, we are born innocent babies, connected to God, entering a fallen world which teaches us that sin is good and serving love is foolish. We grow up in this environment, our nature adapting to this sinful world and of course, as soon as we become conscious of our bad deeds (the law of God is written on our hearts - more on this subject in a different post) and do them anyway, we too become separated from the Loving Holy Spirit - spiritually dead in our sins. 

No longer a living soul, we are now a dead soul. Because we have gone after our selfish flesh, selfish things, wicked ways, strange gods, we have left our first love, God Almighty, and He in turn has divorced us. This is the state of being that we are in, before we come to the Lord. Spiritually dead and lost. Dead, because we are no longer one with the life giving Spirit; lost, because only this life giving Light can lead us into all spiritual knowledge and life.

Imagine yourself in a room, totally shut off from light, the black of the darkness is so thick, you can almost touch it. You open your eyes wide and search for light, but there is non. Void of the True Light we stumble through life, self medicating our loss of godly Love, seeking the Light yet turning to addictions and more hate/sin. 

Because we are in darkness looking for anything that gives us light and hope, we are extremely vulnerable to Satan, who is roaming the world as a counterfeit light. The world would like us to believe that Satan is an ugly monster that we can discern, but this is not true. Satan is spirit and comes to us in spiritual form, often as an angel of light, meaning, without spiritual discernment he looks like he is a good guy! That is why we have so many religions in this world, from New Age to Islam to Buddhism to all the fake religious "Christians" in todays churches, all have been deceived by the fake light Satan. 

All are void of Almighty God, because all go after man made philosophies so that they may boast in them. These religious people still want to be god, still want to boast in their own works, still don't want to walk in the faith of God. But without the Holy Spirit they are as dead as the atheist, unable to discern the spiritual world, they are unable to discern Satan at work in this world, deceiving and luring them into more selfish ambitions (sin). Satan, sin and death reigned in this world for a very long time, and we had no hope of ever getting back to God. Until God promised to send us a Saviour - the Christ...

The Spiritual Fight

You might now ask, why do we have to be reconnected to God again? What's the point? Well, apart from the fact that Satan is destroying you and any good relationships you have in this life, he is also causing you to stay disconnected from the Spirit of God who is giving you eternal life. This means that when you die in this flesh body, and your soul is not connected back to God, you will stay disconnected from God for all eternity. And seeing that God is Love and Life, I think that is the one thing you want to avoid.

Many deceived people think that God is cruel, He wants us to perish in hell, dare I say, some people even hold the belief that God destined us to go to hell in the first place. This is all "fake news" designed to keep you feeling sorry for yourself, and while you are having that pity party, you are unable to seek God.

God is actually the total opposite of these vicious rumours. Remember, God is Life, He creates (Satan destroys). God is Love, He serves His creation as He creates. That is why God did not want to have a continuation of animal sacrifices every year. He did not want the death of animals to cover the sins of the selfish people (Matthew 9:13). Instead He wanted the sacrifices to stop and the people to no longer be selfish but loving again! Makes sense, right!? 

God Made A Way

Let us go back to Eden for a minute. Remember Adam and Eve? Well, had mankind never sinned we would still be in perfect Eden today, right? Adam and Eve would have had children in Eden and Eden would be filled with men and women. Well, it is this offspring of Adam and Eve that is also divided. Let me explain:

It is my personal belief that just as some angels rebelled against God in heaven, so also some of Adam and Eve's offspring would have rebelled in Eden (Jude 1.11). Some of the offspring would have never rebelled. But because we have all been born into a fallen world and were taught how to sin from the get go, we have all become sinners. Yet those of us who deep down hate rebellion against God (often times unbeknownst to us) we seek Him even in the depth of our sins. We may seek Him in our addiction, we may seek Him in our hatred against the world, but we do seek Him. And it is those of us who seek God, Love, Light, Truth and Righteous Judgement, that the Lord wants to come back to Him again. These are His lost sheep.

But how, you may ask. How can we ever become reconnected again to God when even just one sin is an eternal sin, meaning, because the sin was committed against eternal God, the sin too is eternal. So how could we ever pay for an eternal crime that has no end? We cant. We can never ever make good for what we have done. It is impossible for a created mortal creature like us or an animal to pay for the sins that we have committed against Eternal God. That is why God Himself said in His scriptures

 "Sacrifice and offering You did not desire, but a body You prepared for Me....In burnt offerings and sin offerings You took no delight" Hebrews 10.

You see, because there is a crime, there needs to be judgement and consequence (those of you who love righteousness will agree with God on that one!) and someone has to pay for the crimes committed. That is just how it is. You rape, you go to jail, you murder, you go to jail or in some parts of the world, you are killed yourself. you lie, people dont trust you. You cheat, relationships will break down. Every sin we commit has a consequence in this world, but a much bigger consequence in the spiritual realm - it has caused us to become separated from God. We cant go to jail to make it good again, we cant pay money. We cant kill ourselves so that we can go back to God. Nothing in this world can reconcile us to God again, for all in this world have sinned and have fallen short of the glory of God. 

And that is when our loving God made a Way back to Him. In John 15.13 He writes  

 Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one’s life for his friends. 

So if the greatest act of love is for man to lay down his life for his friends, so that his friends can live, the God of Love Himself laid down His own life for us so that we can live, right? 

But wait. We were no friends of God. We were His enemies because we hated Him. Every time we lied to someone we transgressed from God's law of Love. Every time we cheated, hated or even murdered someone, we cheated, hated and murdered (spiritually speaking) God. 

So how can it be that the greatest act of love is to lay down your own life for your friends, what chance have we got knowing that we are enemies of God?

The Saviour

But God proves His love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us Romans 5.8.

Can you see how saving us with a created mortal man would have been impossible, but with Eternal God all things are possible!?

When the disciples heard this, they were greatly astonished and asked, “Who then can be saved?” 26 Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.” Matthew 19

So the Christ was not just a man, He was much more. He came from above. And what exactly that means I will explain to you now in great detail, because Satan is still about, trying to confuse you and pull you into dead religions and unbelief so that you stay disconnected from God.

Everyone wanted to know who this Christ was. Not only was He going to save mankind from eternal damnation, but He would not be of this world! Remember, all in this world had sinned. The Christ, however, would come from the holy kingdom of heaven above.

And the angel answered and said to her, “The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Highest will overshadow you; therefore, also, that Holy One who is to be born will be called the Son of God. Luke 1.35

And Isaiah prophesied: 

Who has believed our report?

And to whom has the arm of the Lord been revealed?

For He shall grow up before Him as a tender plant,

And as a root out of dry ground.

He has no form or comeliness;

And when we see Him,

There is no beauty that we should desire Him.

He is despised and rejected by men,

A Man of sorrows and acquainted with grief.

And we hid, as it were, our faces from Him;

He was despised, and we did not esteem Him.

Surely He has borne our griefs

And carried our sorrows;

Yet we esteemed Him stricken,

Smitten by God, and afflicted.

But He was wounded for our transgressions,

He was bruised for our iniquities;

The chastisement for our peace was upon Him,

And by His stripes we are healed.

6 All we like sheep have gone astray;

We have turned, every one, to his own way;

And the Lord has laid on Him the iniquity of us all.

He was oppressed and He was afflicted,

Yet He opened not His mouth;

He was led as a lamb to the slaughter,

And as a sheep before its shearers is silent,

So He opened not His mouth.

He was taken from prison and from judgment,

And who will declare His generation?

For He was cut off from the land of the living;

For the transgressions of My people He was stricken.

And they made His grave with the wicked—

But with the rich at His death,

Because He had done no violence,

Nor was any deceit in His mouth.

Yet it pleased the Lord to bruise Him;

He has put Him to grief.

When You make His soul an offering for sin,

He shall see His seed, He shall prolong His days,

And the pleasure of the Lord shall prosper in His hand.

He shall see the labor of His soul, and be satisfied.

By His knowledge My righteous Servant shall justify many,

For He shall bear their iniquities.

Therefore I will divide Him a portion with the great,

And He shall divide the spoil with the strong,

Because He poured out His soul unto death,

And He was numbered with the transgressors,

And He bore the sin of many,

And made intercession for the transgressors. Isaiah 53

So God prophesied through a man called Isaiah that there would be a serving Holy One, sent by God Almighty who would come from above (the Arm of the Lord revealed; Lord = SPIRIT, Arm = FLESH)  Meaning the Spirit would become flesh, made manifest, visible on earth.

You are My witnesses,” says the Lord,

“And My servant whom I have chosen,

That you may know and believe Me,

And understand that I am He.

Before Me there was no God formed,

Nor shall there be after Me.

I am the Lord,

And besides Me there is no Saviour. Isaiah 43.

As you can see, the Holy Servant who was sent by God, the Christ, was not a created man, neither the 2nd person of a trinity, but God Himself. And when God came as a Servant He gave himself the name of Jesus that by this we may be saved and every knee shall bow. Remember, God is Love, and love is Self sacrifice. And because God is not a hypocrite, it was God Himself  who beget (produced/brought forth) the greatest act of Love only Eternal God Almighty can bring, and that is to lay down His life for even his enemies, us sinners. 

The antiChrist spirit will tell you that it was not God Himself who is the Servant, that someone else went to the cross.  He wants you to believe that God is a hypocrite who calls Himself Love, yet He sent someone else to do the job for Him. In short, the antichrist spirit wants you to believe in the hypocrite, liar and ultimately murderer, who sacrificed someone else on the cross. And who, my dear friends, is the hypocrite, liar and murderer? You got it in one: Satan.

Let no one deceive you by any means; for that Day will not come unless the falling away comes first, and the man of sin is revealed, the son of perdition, 4 who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God or that is worshiped, so that he sits as God in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God. 2 Thes 2

Do not forget, it is God who wants to be in this temple - you. It is God who wants to be one with you again. This is the spiritual fight for your soul. And your soul will yoke with either one, God or Satan, according to who you believe the Christ is.  Can you now see how important it is what you believe? Can you now see how important it is that you believe the right Gospel? The Gospel announces the Christ who we need to believe in, and if the Gospel you hear is a false Gospel, with a false christ, you will not receive the Holy Spirit but the counterfeit antiChrist spirit. 

For if he who comes preaches another Jesus whom we have not preached, or if you receive a different spirit which you have not received, or a different gospel which you have not accepted—you may well put up with it! 2 Corinthians 11

So who will you believe? God Almighty or the antiChrist spirit Satan?

Believing is Seeing

So you decided to choose Jesus as your Saviour. What now? What is next is very simple yet extremely difficult for many: You must believe. I have heard many fake Christians say "Oh we just have to believe and thats it? Thats ridiculous!" 

These people are not interested in giving all glory to God Almighty who went to the cross. They want to do something, so they can boast and take some glory. But the only Way to come to God is through faith, believing in what Jesus did for you: 

God Himself came to earth, veiled in a flesh body (because no one can see God in His full glory and live). He came in the likeness of sinful flesh (meaning it was sinful flesh but He Himself is Spirit and not sinful, in the likeness of a man (meaning He came in the likeness of a man but He Himself is Spirit) and laid down His life at the cross, so that His spilled holy blood could pay for our sins Acts 20.28. 

If you turn from your own selfish ways and turn to Jesus and believe in His loving act of self sacrifice, you will receive His Holy Spirit. This means, Jesus will dwell in you and you will be one with your first love yet again. Sealed for the kingdom of heaven when you fall asleep.

The bridegroom has come for His spotless bride. He Himself went out to look for her, He Himself paid the price for her. He Himself laid down His life for her. 

Not a separate entity. No. But God Almighty did it all by Himself. To Him all the glory! Hallelujah!

The blood of Christ brings forgiveness of our sins.

Believing in His loving act brings reconciliation with God through His Spirit.

Humanity had not deserved this forgiveness, indeed, we were doomed for hell. But because Jesus is a loving Almighty God and He wants us to be saved, He made a Way for us to get back with Him. 

For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— not by works, so that no one can boast.
